If you install OsiriX through the App Store and your system is OS X lion or later, you can take this approach. But if you install OsiriX via a .pkg\/.dmg file, you will need to take the following method.<\/p>\n<h4>Way 2: move OsiriX icon to the Trash<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Open the Finder, and click on Applications in the sidebar to open the folder.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll through to locate OsiriX, then click and drag its icon to the Trash in the Dock. Be very cautious when you perform this operation. Any time you change your mind, you can restore the deleted file or app by right-clicking on it in the Trash and choosing the Put Back option.<\/p>\n<p>The drag-to-delete method works in all versions of Mac OS X. Most 3rd party apps can be smoothly uninstalled in that way, but it is not applicable to built-in apps on Mac. Fail to move an app to the Trash or empty the Trash? Try this way: select OsiriX icon, then hold the Option key, and choose Empty Trash from the Finder menu.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">How Can I Remove OsiriX-Associated Files &amp; Folders?<\/h3>\n<p>Uninstalling an application by the steps mentioned above does not help you get rid of all its traces scattered around the system.
