July
2008 - The North Shore Arts Association of Gloucester is
one of the oldest and most respected arts organizations in the
country. Founded in 1922 they are committed to bringing
the best in contemporary art to visitors from all over the world.
They offer four exhibitions of members work each year, regular
exhibitions by artists such as Frederick Mulhaupt, Emile Gruppé,
George Aarons, and more. Located on beautiful Smith's Cove in Gloucester,
Massachusetts, they wanted a web site that would reflect the serene
and peaceful setting they occupy. Their site needs to be easy to
update because new material is added weekly during the season.
Galleries of award winning paintings are added when each show is
judged, a list of their publications is available for sale, membership
applications can be downloaded, and workshop and event calendars
are updated regularly. Recently we added a small "juke box" to
their home page that plays the sounds one hears at the art association
--- seagulls, lapping waves, and ship's horns. Visit their site
